Motor Cortex Stimulation
MCS is a technique that can be used in order to treat chronic neuropathic pain syndromes. Worldwide it is proposed as a “last chance” therapy after all previous treatments have failed to induce pain relief. In our experience it is an effective technique in patients suffering post-stroke pain and trigeminal deafferentation pain.
